On-Site Factory Visit: Production Follow-Up for Pakistani Buyer’s Medical PU Film Roll Order

A sourcing representative from the independent Magaselect team recently conducted a one-day on-site factory visit to follow up on the production progress of a batch of medical-grade PU self-cutting film rolls ordered by a buyer in Pakistan.

The visit took place at the manufacturing facility where the medical PU film rolls are currently being processed and prepared for delivery. The purpose of the visit was to observe the production workflow, confirm manufacturing progress, and gain a better understanding of the supplier’s processing capabilities.

During the on-site visit, the sourcing representative observed several stages of the production line, including:

• Raw material roll preparation
• PU film coating and processing
• Precision slitting and rewinding
• Roll consistency and packaging preparation

Particular attention was given to the slitting accuracy, roll alignment, and material consistency, which are important factors in ensuring the usability of medical-grade film materials in downstream applications.

Through the on-site visit, the sourcing representative was able to gain a clearer picture of the factory’s production organization, equipment operation, and workflow management. These observations help provide overseas buyers with additional transparency regarding supplier production conditions and manufacturing processes.
