Recently, an independent sourcing team associated with Magaselect carried out a one-day on-site factory visit to follow up on the production of wooden beds manufactured in China on behalf of a Korean client.

The visit focused on monitoring the production progress of a batch of OEM wooden beds currently being processed by a local furniture manufacturer. During the visit, the team reviewed the workshop layout, production equipment, material preparation, and the general workflow of the manufacturing process.

Supplier Assessment from the Buyer’s Perspective

From a sourcing and procurement perspective, the on-site inspection aimed to provide the overseas client with a clearer understanding of the supplier’s actual production conditions. Particular attention was paid to:

• Raw material preparation and wood panel processing
• CNC machining operations and equipment condition
• Production workflow and workstation organization
• Product consistency and processing accuracy

Such factory visits and production follow-ups help overseas buyers better evaluate supplier reliability and ensure that the production schedule aligns with delivery expectations.

Supporting International Buyers with On-Site Verification

For many international buyers sourcing products from China, remote communication alone may not fully reflect real production conditions. Independent on-site follow-ups can provide additional transparency in the sourcing process.

The visit also allowed the team to document the current stage of production and provide feedback to the overseas client regarding factory operations and manufacturing progress.
