Conducts One-Day On-Site Apparel Inspection for South Korean Buyer

As part of Magaselect’s ongoing Factory Visit & Buyer Sourcing series, our team recently carried out a one-day on-site inspection at a garment manufacturing facility, commissioned by a South Korean client to review the production progress of their customized workwear and school uniform order.

This visit was conducted from a buyer and sourcing perspective, with a focus on ensuring that production is proceeding according to agreed specifications, timelines, and quality standards. During the on-site inspection, the Magaselect team reviewed multiple stages of the manufacturing process, including fabric preparation, cutting, sewing, in-line assembly, and work-in-progress handling on the production floor.

Special attention was given to process consistency, workmanship quality, capacity utilization, and on-site management practices, as these factors are critical for overseas buyers managing long-distance supply chains. The inspection also included communication with factory supervisors to confirm order status, identify potential risks, and evaluate corrective actions where needed.

For international buyers, especially those sourcing apparel from overseas factories, independent on-site inspections play an important role in reducing uncertainty, improving transparency, and supporting informed purchasing decisions. Through these sourcing visits, Magaselect acts as an extension of the buyer’s team on the ground, providing real-time feedback and practical assessments.
